Photography workshop in Morocco

Welcome to the beginning of our photographic adventure in Morocco! Throughout the day, we will welcome all participants at Tangier Airport, where our team will be waiting to greet you.
Once the group is complete, we will transfer to Chefchaouen, the legendary Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. During the journey, we will begin to immerse ourselves in the essence of the country.
This is where the Morocco Photo Tour officially begins.

In the morning, we will explore Chefchaouen, known as “The Blue City.” This picturesque town offers a full day to wander through its cobbled streets, colorful doors, and iconic blue facades.
Chefchaouen is a true paradise for photographers: its soft light, deep shadows, and natural compositions ensure that every corner tells a story through the lens.
In the afternoon, we will begin our journey toward Fez, stopping along the way at Volubilis, the extraordinary Roman ruins where we can photograph beautifully preserved columns, arches, and mosaics.

After breakfast, we will visit Fez, one of the oldest and most enigmatic cities in Morocco. We will explore its medina, a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets, traditional workshops, and historic monuments.
We will stop at the famous Fez tanneries, an iconic location where leather is still processed using traditional methods, offering a striking display of colors, textures, and everyday life—ideal for photography.
We will then continue through the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas, home to the Barbary macaques, where we can capture natural scenes in a setting completely different from the urban environment.
In the afternoon, we will begin our transfer toward Merzouga, gradually entering the landscapes of the desert.

After breakfast, we will depart for Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, crossing the ever-changing landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.
We will arrive at sunset at our accommodation, an exclusive desert palace. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a photographic walk among the dunes during sunset—a magical moment to capture the long shadows and golden tones of the Sahara.
After nightfall, we will walk under the stars to continue photographing the nearby dunes.

The day begins with a traditional breakfast at Nomad Palace. We will then head to Khamlia, a small village with roots in Mali, where we will enjoy vibrant Gnawa music.
We will visit the Mifis mines and share tea in traditional nomadic tents, experiencing desert culture up close.
In the afternoon, we will take a 4×4 excursion around the Merzouga area.

After breakfast at Nomad Palace, we will visit the traditional market of Rissani in the morning—a place full of local life and authentic scenes, perfect for documentary photography.
In the afternoon, free time to relax or take part in optional activities.

In the morning, we will stroll through Merzouga and visit the car museum, a surprising collection in the heart of the desert.
At midday, we will enjoy an exquisite couscous in a local home, sharing an authentic culinary experience.
In the afternoon, we will take a camel ride to our desert camp, located in the heart of the dunes.
The day will conclude with a night photography session under the star-filled Sahara sky.

We will head toward Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” a region filled with cinematic landscapes.
We will pass through the Todra Gorge and the Valley of Roses before arriving in Ouarzazate, home to the famous Atlas Film Studios.

We will begin the day by visiting the film studios of Ouarzazate, where legendary productions such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones were filmed.
Later, we will head to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spectacular adobe fortress, perfect for photography.
We will then cross the impressive Atlas Mountains, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters, with breathtaking panoramic views separating the Atlantic from the Mediterranean.
Arrival in Marrakech at the end of the day.

Day dedicated to exploring Marrakech, famous for its vibrant souks, hidden gardens, and the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.
Free afternoon to continue exploring the city, relax, or go shopping.

It’s time to say goodbye. The day is dedicated to airport transfers, leaving you with unforgettable memories and spectacular photographs from a unique journey through Morocco.
